Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Primary School Sefton, provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate our Catholic faith. In collaboration with our parish priest, students regularly attend reconciliation and grade Masses throughout the year, as well as celebrate whole school Masses, family Masses and prayer services, on special days.
Our Sacramental program is conducted through the parish, and supported by the school. Our staff and parish volunteers work collaboratively to ensure students gain a deeper meaning of their First Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation. The parish coordinates the period of Sacrament lessons and the celebration Mass. The school creates a comprehensive religious education program on each Sacrament and assists with the Sacramental retreat days.
